TEPCO Renewable Power and Shoreline Wind have announced a collaboration aimed at optimizing the design and management of offshore wind power operations and maintenance (O&M) by utilizing intelligent simulation software.  

TEPCO Renewable Power, a leader in Japan’s renewable energy sector, is on a mission to significantly expand its offshore wind portfolio. As part of this strategy, TEPCO Renewable Power sought a solution to accurately evaluate maintenance and management costs, predict future cash flows, and streamline operational logistics. After thorough evaluation, TEPCO Renewable Power determined that Shoreline Wind’s leading O&M simulation software is the ideal tool to meet these requirements. 

TEPCO Renewable Power stated, “We aim to expand our offshore wind power business and believe that improving our ability to accurately assess the maintenance and management costs of offshore wind farms and forecast future cash flows will help us make ongoing development and investment decisions. By integrating Shoreline Wind’s O&M simulation software into the design phase of its offshore wind projects, TEPCO Renewable Power is supported with a digital framework for insights into costs, availability, and resource utilization during the operations and maintenance campaigns. A key task for TEPCO Renewable Power is the estimation of maintenance costs and vessel specifications, including the costs and specifications of Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) during operations.
